Dreaming Reality was an exhibit curated for RUSH Arts Gallery – an art center founded by brothers Danny Simmons, Russell Simmons and Joseph Simmons aka ‘Rev.Run DMC.’ The gallery’s goal is to promote contemporary art education, and develop and support artists, curators and new audiences.
The curatorial proposal for Dreaming Reality was selected and presented at their New York gallery.
The theme explores visual stories of our subconscious – the space between real and surreal, dreaming and waking states, the gaps and bridges of our mind. Exhibited artists included Sebastian Wahl, Fabrice Cazenave,J Swofford, John Ransom Phillips and Ahmet Murat Karayilan.
