Dreaming Reality

Dreaming Reality was an exhibit I curated for RUSH Arts – an art center that was founded by brothers Danny Simmons, Russell Simmons and Joseph Simmons (aka ‘Rev.Run DMC’) with the goal to promote contemporary art education and develop and support artists, curators and new audiences.

My curatorial proposal ’Dreaming Reality’ was selected and presented at their New York gallery. For this show, I was interested in exploring the story of our subconscious – the space between real and surreal, dreaming and waking states, the gaps and bridges of our mind. I gathered the works of an eclectic group of international artists, including Sebastian Wahl, Fabrice Cazenave, Ahmet Murat Karayilan, J Swofford, and John Ransom Phillips
